Depart for Wittenberg. (En route, visit Glieneck “Bridge of Spies.”) Tour All Saints Church/Schlosskirche (where Luther posted his 95 Theses), and St. Mary’s Church (where Luther preached). Open lunch in Market Square. Visit Luther House, the monastery where Luther lived as a monk, as well as the Melanchthon House. Dinner and overnight in Wittenberg.
Depart for Eisenach’s Wartburg Castle, where Luther translated the New Testament into German. Open lunch and continue to Erfurt, the spiritual home of Luther. Lodging is provided at Erfurt Augustinian Monastery where Luther lived for six years. Dinner and overnight in Erfurt.
Sabbath worships for all at Erfurt Augustinian Monastery and provided vegetarian lunch. Afternoon tour of Monastery, St. Mary’s Cathedral, and the Church of St. Severus. Dinner and overnight in Erfurt.
Depart for Nuremberg. Visit documentation center and Nazi rally grounds where Hitler spoke. Dinner and overnight in Nuremberg.
Depart for Dachau Concentration Camp outside Munich. In the afternoon, depart for Bavaria. Dinner and overnight in Fussen.
After breakfast, tranfer to Munich Airport. Or continue onto Salzburg/Sound of Music extension.
